All prices shown on the Skin Care Select Laboratories (SCS Lab) website, downloadable order form and all respective marketing materials are in New Zealand Dollars, excluding GST and freight.  All payments, including credit card payments will be processed in New Zealand Dollars.  Orders within New Zealand will automatically attract GST of 12.5% calculated on top of your total order value.  Australia and international orders are exempt from GST, provided that the order is shipped directly out of New Zealand.

How to order:

  1. To expedite the ordering process and to ensure the accuracy of each order, we prefer accepting orders via our website.  In saying that, we accept all orders in writing submitted through “Contact Us” or by email, 24 hours a day.  We do not accept phone orders. 
  2. To ensure we are dedicated to servicing wholesale, private label and manufacturing clients, a minimum spend of $150 is required for every order transaction, excluding GST & freight. 
  3. We are happy to exempt the minimum spend requirement for first time customers, or for sampling clients.  Please contact Customer Service for a promotional code to complete your order online. 
  4. Orders submitted through our website will take priority over all other ordering methods.  However, all orders will be attended to within the next working day.
  5. Our Customer Service can be contacted if you require further assistance with placing an order, or if you need to address any special instructions with a particular order. 
  6. We accept direct deposit to our designated bank account, and VISA and MasterCard via Paymate Express Payment.  Detailed payment instruction can be located at the end of your ordering process as well as on your order confirmation email to your provided email address.  International telegraphic transfer must be made without cost to the beneficiary. 
  7. Order will not be processed until full payment has being received.
  8. We endeavour to process and despatch all received and fully paid orders within 3 working days. 
  9. All prices are subject to change without notification prior to confirmation and payment.

Inventory Availability and Back Orders:

  1. If we are unable to fill an order completely within the advised timeframe, our Customer Service will notify you via email to discuss the options of deferring the despatch or proceed with partial shipment.  We will make every effort to get the product(s) back in stock as soon as possible.
  2. If you place an order and we are unable to ship product(s) to you, we will cancel the product from your order, notify you immediately via email, and update the Site accordingly.
  3. Customers and business clients are responsible for all shipping and handling cost for all orders, including backorders.

Shipping, Damages and Returns:

  1. All orders will be shipped EXW from Auckland, New Zealand.
  2. We are not responsible for any shipping and handling charges.
  3. Freight on the website is quoted based on the weight, volume and destination to your particular order.
  4. We choose to use New Zealand Post as our designated carrier for both local and international orders.
  5. You are welcome to use your own courier account or preferred freight forwarders.  We can work with these businesses for both local and international orders.
  6. For international orders, we offer two air services within New Zealand Post –
    a. International Par Avion Air:
    Target delivery time 3 – 10 working days, maximum 20KG, accepts PO Box delivery, standard cover up to $250, order value over $250 but less than $1500 can be sent only if additional compensation cover is purchased.
    b. International Express Courier:
    Target delivery time 1 – 5 working days, maximum weight 30KG, do not accept PO Box delivery, online tracking, signature upon delivery, standard cover up to $2000, items valued over $2000 but less than $50,000 can be sent only if additional compensation cover is purchased.
  7. We take no responsibility for any loss, damages or delay that may occur during the shipping process.  Similarly, we must be notified should additional insurance be required.  Without notification, we ship orders without insurance.
  8. Australia and international orders do not incur GST; however, it is customer’s responsibility to pay local duties and taxies upon entry.
  9. Shipping overseas may require additional legal documents for custom purposes.  Please check with your local shipping agent or custom agent prior to despatch.  Orders being held, stored or penalties incurred in processing these orders will be passed onto the customers.
  10. We stand by our products 100%.  Should a return be necessary, please contact Customer Service for a pre-authorisation number to expedite the return process.  A request for return must be made within 7 days of delivery from purchase date.  Products must be in original condition, unused and unlabelled.
  11. A fee of $25 or 10% of order (whichever is greater) will be charged unless the return or cancellation was a result of our error.
  12. In the situation of damaged goods, please advise us immediately.  It is necessary for you to contact the carrier for a damage inspection and claim for reimbursement.  All damaged and product shortage claims must be made in 30 days from the date order was received.

Samples and Discounts:

  1. We understand that due to the nature of our business, sampling is a must for many wholesale, private label and manufacturing clients.  Please contact Customer Service in regards to samples.  We offer up to 10 free samples per new customer.  Additional samples can be purchased at a discounted rate.  Subject to pre-approval.
  2. Customers and business clients are responsible for all shipping and handling cost for the samples.
  3. "Introductory Sampling Package" - SELF-SELECT ANY 50 PRODUCTS FOR $300.00*!!!
    We offer an introductory sampling package for all first time customers and clients.  This is the easiest and quickest way for new customers and clients to familiarise themselves with our quality, variety, and packaging.  We allow you to self-select any 50 products within our catalogue for $300.  *Offer excludes Nutraceutical products.  Customers and clients are responsible for shipping and handling cost for the samples.
  4. We offer a blanket discount approach based on value (instead of units), within our ordering system for all orders.  We believe this system works best for our customers and clients of every size.  The discount is automatically calculated and deducted for you when you order online.  Please note the value is based on products only, excluding GST and freight.

  5. For wholesale, private label and manufacturing clients, please contact Customer Service if you are ordering high quantities and/or high volume of a particular product(s).  Depending on the product, units and volume, we are open to negotiation.

Packaging:

  1. For the ease of our wholesale, private label and manufacturing clients, all our products are available in standard 100ml, 1KG and 5KG packaging.  The 100ml packaging is primarily intended for sampling purposes only.
  2. Our products are not intended nor suggested for direct reselling on the retail market.  We explore ways to keep our packaging as simple and light for the convenience of sampling, shipping and handling, and repackaging.
  3. Our standard 100ml packaging is in either sealed standup plastic pouch, bottles or jars, labelled under Skin Care Select Laboratories.
  4. We offer additional packaging services for wholesale, private label and manufacturing clients, who wish to brand the products under their new or existing labels.  For more information on labelling requirements and packaging services, please contact Customer Service.

Wholesale, Private Label and Manufacturing Clients:

  1. Skin Care Select Laboratories is a broker, wholesaler and manufacturer in the skin care and toiletry industry.  To offer a complete approach to our clients and to meet their market demand, we also offer private labelling of nutraceutical (oral supplements) and contract manufacturing of natural colour cosmetics.  Due to the complexity and the nature of wholesale, private label and manufacturing services, we strongly encourage you to contact us directly with your concerns.  We are open to negotiate special pricing, split shipment, multi-destination despatch, product sourcing, development and training and any other needs that may be necessary to help you better service your customers.
  2. We maintain a full, but limited level of inventory for each product to ensure freshness of each batch.  We highly recommend all high volume orders allow roughly 15 working days for despatch (from the date of full payment) and/or notify Customer Service of your re-ordering cycle so that we can work to your deadline.
  3. Fees and charges for private label and contract manufacturing are quoted based on your specifications.  Depending on your specifications, we can start contract manufacturing from as low as 50KG and private label of products from 100 units per product.

Product Disclaimers and Liabilities:

  1. The stability and nature of our products may be altered depending on storage conditions, or when used in combination with other ingredients.  This is beyond our control and we strongly recommend laboratory tests prior to commercial runs.  We will not accept any liability in this regards.
  2. The International Federation of Aromatherapists do not recommend that essential oils be taken internally unless under the supervision of a Medical Doctor who is also qualified in clinical Aromatherapy.
  3. As many of our products are purchased to resell onto an end consumer under a private brand, the reseller of these products is solely responsible for compliance with all laws and regulations applying to the use of the products, including intellectual property rights of third parties.
  4. As the availability of ingredients and raw materials are not always certain whether due to changes to nature or otherwise, we reserves the right to substitute alternate ingredients/raw materials in the manufacture of our products and bases in order to maintain supply to our customers and clients.  Customers should always refer to the ingredient label as affixed to each product or to specification sheet which are current at the time of supply of the product.
